Iron Wolf Capital invests in Vegvisir
Vegvisir, an Estonian defence technology company developing command and control software for multi-domain operations, has secured investment from EstVCA member Iron Wolf Capital. The funding will accelerate product development, deepen integrations with allied unmanned platform providers, and expand the company's customer pipeline across NATO member states.
Founded by Ingvar Pärnamäe, Vegvisir is building a software platform that enables operators to coordinate manned and unmanned systems across land, air, maritime, and subsea domains through a single interoperable interface. The platform combines AI-powered detection and decision support to help armed forces manage increasingly complex multi-domain operations.
As unmanned systems become a growing part of modern defence, Vegvisir aims to address one of the sector's key challenges: fragmented command and control architectures that limit interoperability between platforms and allied forces.
The investment will support the company's transition from product development to operational deployments while accelerating commercial expansion across Europe and NATO countries.
Commenting on the investment, Kasparas Jurgelionis, Managing Partner at Iron Wolf Capital, said: “We invest where technology meets an irreversible shift in how the world operates. The transition to multi-domain unmanned operations is exactly that kind of shift, and it demands a software-native, platform-agnostic solution that no existing player has adequately built. Vegvisir has the architecture, the team, and the ambition to own that space. We believe that over the next decade, Vegvisir can become one of the defining names in European defence technology, and this investment is our commitment to helping them get there.”
