Key responsibilities in the role include:
  • Building strong networks and managing relationships with key ecosystem players both within Estonia and abroad, including members, political parties, governing bodies, limited partners (LPs), other VCAs, supporting organisations, and more.
  • Communicating effectively and confidently speaking in public.
  • Organising events, from local networking gatherings to large-scale events like the Annual General Meeting, Baltic VCA Summit, and Latitude59 LPxGP Meetup.
  • Hosting important stakeholders and delegations, and connecting them with fund managers.
  • Identifying new trends and regulations impacting the industry.
  • Collecting data for the annual Baltic PE/VC market report.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and consulting with the in-house legal team.
  • Managing media relations and ensuring the quality of the EstVCA brand, including full ownership of the EstVCA website and social media accounts.
  • Executing the strategy and policy initiatives set by the management board.

Who are we looking for?
  • You have experience with Private Equity or Venture Capital investors and/or tech companies.
  • You are ready to delve into legal and regulatory matters, both locally and internationally.
  • Have experience leading teams and executing strategies.
  • Are passionate about innovation, communication, networking, and event organising.
  • Have the confidence to present and speak in public.
  • Are fluent in both English and Estonian.
  • Preferably hold a degree in finance, economics, or law.

Benefits
  • A self-governing role with high independence and vast networking opportunities with all relevant stakeholders.
  • An impactful position in the industry within an inspiring working environment.
  • Ability to develop international relations through the execution of the association's strategy at both local and global levels.
  • Close relationships with industry players.
