Riga-based aircraft parts manufacturer AM Craft has secured a €600,000 pre-seed funding round to further expand its operations globally. The investment was led by Change Ventures and joined by BADideas.fund.

Co-founded in 2018 by Didzis Dejus and Janis Jatnieks, AM Craft is a supplier of polymer additive manufacturing for the aviation industry. It specializes in designing, manufacturing, and offering 3D-printed aircraft interior parts.

With manufacturing hubs in Riga and Dubai, AM Craft has acquired partners and clients worldwide, including AirBaltic, Finnair, AMES, FACC, Rega, Vartan, Vipe21, and ZIM aircraft seating.

The fresh capital will help AM Craft enter new markets, including Central Europe, the US, and Southeast Asia.

“3D printing is the perfect solution and AM Craft — Aviation Additive Manufacturing Services is the only company globally with a distributed manufacturing network for producing certified parts and with real experience delivering to clients like Finnair. We are super excited to be on this journey with the team and to also be joined in this round by our long-time co-investor friends BADideas.fund,” Partner at Change Ventures, Andris K. Berzins, commented.
