NEW MEMBER: TriHeritage Global Capital joins EstVCA
We are excited to announce that TriHeritage Global Capital has joined EstVCA as our first-ever private credit member.
TriHeritage is an Estonia-based private debt firm. Private debt is a privately negotiated loan between a company and a non-bank lender — a financing route that's long been underdeveloped in Europe compared to the US and has emerged largely because banks have pulled back lending to smaller companies under regulatory capital constraints. Private debt funds like TriHeritage are stepping in to fill that void, while institutional and high-net-worth investors increasingly turn to the asset class for diversification and yields well above government or public corporate bonds.
TriHeritage invests in a diversified portfolio of senior, secured, floating-rate loans issued to profitable scaleups and small companies across the EU, with tickets up to €1M, seeking attractive current income and capital preservation for its investors.
The firm was founded by Alejandro Jimenez, a former J.P. Morgan partner who led teams in New York and Geneva overseeing more than $30bn in AUM. He previously headed the energy trading desk at Eesti Energia and is a CFA Charterholder.
